The Wisconsin Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Information & Analysis publishes the annual crime statistics of counties and cities in the state of Wisconsin. In 2019, Shawano County reported 605 crimes, including 42 violent crimes and 563 property crimes. The violent crimes reported were 19 rapes, four robberies, and 23 aggravated assaults. Shawano County has one Circuit Court, with two branches and one Municipal Court.
