How do I Visit an Inmate in Polk County Jail?

The Polk County Jail was opened in 2003 and contained 160-bed spaces. The facility is used to house both pre-sentenced and sentenced inmates. Interested parties can get copies of divorce records from the Polk County Register of Deeds. Requesters must fill out a divorce record application form and return it in person or by mail. Each record costs $2 to copy the first page and $1 per extra page. If a certified copy is required, an additional $1 fee will apply. The Deeds Office can only provide copies of divorces that have happened between June 21, 2015, to date.
